Beto Carrero World is the largest Latin American theme park, located in the municipality of Penha, State of Santa Catarina in Brazil. It was inaugurated by the already deceased Beto Carrero, on December 28, 1991.Currently considered the 6° better fun park in the world , and the complex has a total area of 14,000 km², being divided into three major segments:

Agreement with Dreamworks and Universal Studios
During the BNT 2012, the park has presented an important international alliance in brazilian entertainment market. The Agreement is drawn up new attractions with two companies international cinema, that are the Dreamworks Animation and Universal Studios. Dreamworks is specialized in animations, as Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and Madagascar. Already the Universal has already made grandiose films as the list of Schindler, E.T, King Kong and Tubarão.

The Beto Carrero World is located in the municipality of Penha, situated in the north littoral of Santa Catarina. Only 35 km from the Balneario Camboriú, 60 of Blumenau and 66 of Joinville, and a few km from the airport Navegantes, the park is equidistant from cities that offer shopping, ethnic festival, gastronomy and many beaches. It is also located next to the capitals - Florianópolis 110 kilometers and Curitiba to 195, both by Highways (BRs 101 and 376) of dual slopes.From the BR 101, are little more than six kilometers until the entry of the Beto Carrero World, also by dual gang of asphalt.

Events
The Beto Carrero World already counted with various events, being the most visited Thriller Nights, a homage to the king of pop Michael Jackson and the island of darkness, where the pirates' island is entirely discussed in sombre hues and frightening.

Automotive complex:
The complex Beto Carrero World regard a gang of motocross and an international karting, designed by German Herman Tilke. The Kartodromo has bowling lanes, shops and restaurants. In 2011, received the 500 Miles of Kart, an important event that gathers the main celebrities of world motoring and Brazilian. The Autodrome International is already designed and their works should begin in the coming months.There is a large chance of this autodrome host the Grand Prix of Brazil of Formula 1 already in 2016.
